Team FireBug takes 2nd at Round 5 of OZ Rock!

Wow… what a tuff weekend. Zach flew back from Thailand just to compete in the final round of OZ Rock for the ‘07 season, and we started the weekend on top of the championship points table. A tough day on Saturday, with a few near roll overs, and then a pretty big roll on a bonus line on the last course of the day. This put us way back in 5th place at the end of the day, so we had some work ahead of us…
After some re-grouping, we fought hard on Sunday to move back up the table. Some solid, clean runs got us back up there, and by the end of the day we were back in 2nd place. Another podium to finish off a very successful season.
Unfortunately Pete and Taz were just too good on the day, and pipped us for the championship. Team FireBug will be working hard over the off-season to come back bigger and better in ‘08. Keep an eye out for updates to see what surprises we will have for the competition in ‘08!
